MEET OUR STAFF
My students are predominantly young people. We're in a unique position to be able to teach them the ethics at the core of martial arts. Respect, patience, compassion and much more. These things learned early in life makes the students life better as well as those around them. Of course the ability to protect yourself and your loved ones goes without saying. In martial arts there is so much more than just kicking and punching.
Owner and Senior Instructor
I have been practicing martial arts since the age of 13 under Sensei Gary, and worked my way up from Junior Leader to Assistant Instructor, and finally Instructor. I adore working with students of all ages, and am never afraid of a good workout, and love to spar. Currently, I instruct at Champions NW's Minnehaha location's white belt classes, and work alongside Sensei Gary in his other Tuesday night classes. I'm easy to pick out-just find the person doing burpees or lounging in the splits
I started taking martial arts at age 13. I've studied numerous styles of martial arts and have taken the best from each style to implement, in my opinion, a mixed style for the more rounded and complete individual.
I love teaching and pride myself on having a positive impact on my students no matter their age or abilities.
My martial arts journey began with Teakwondo classes at age 6. Over the next 25 years, I learned from teachers of numerous disciplines, and eventually earned 3rd degree Black belt in Hapkido and 2nd Degree in Teakwondo. Many of the teachers I learned from growing up emphasized mental growth, physical fitness, and the inner development of a strong character. My goal in teaching is to help my students prepare themselves physically, mentally and emotionally for whatever life might throw their way.
First class I attended was tonight and I
really enjoyed watching him instructing a 6 yr old class. You could really tell he had alot of patience with the children and he had the strive to teach them.
Loving the way Sensei Gary works with the kids! I was a bit nervous about having another new instructor, but Sensei Gary and his team is wonderful! We are pleased to have them:)

This group is amazing. My boys have been with their instructor for several years. They are great with communication and answer emails quickly. I recommend this group to all my friends and family. Come check out a class or two and you will see.
